Two singles can be linked to create a stable, large double with the aid of our ‘linkers’ (£20) and a pair of (ideally zipped) mattresses.
Adds versatility that is especially useful in holiday homes, lettings and guest houses.
These are fixed to an extended slat and allow the drawer below to be pulled out without having.to move the table Must be ordered with the bed as they cannot be added later.

Platform bed dimensions
Height to the top of the slats - 13” (33 cm).
Clearance under the side rails - 8½” (21.5 cm)
The base is approximately 1½” (3cm) shorter and
narrower than the mattress to avoid banging the shins.
The legs are recessed - helping to prevent stubbed toes.
Modifications
Raised (longer legs): Up to 4” (10 cm) - £25.
(Raising higher can cause instability)
Lowered - no charge.
Lengthened to 6’6” (198 cm) no charge.
Shortened - £15.
A Centre Beam is supplied with all Platforms of 5’6” (168 x 198 cm) and wider. One can be supplied on narrower beds for an additional £45. (However, due to the nature of the construction this is only necessary if occupants are exceptionally heavy)
