A centre beam and virtually unbreakable slats provide the ideal support for a mattress.

A centre beam runs down the middle of wider beds to provide a solid, stable base, eliminating slat movement and creaks.
The bed slats are made from ‘flooring grade’ pine - far stronger than ‘sprung’ slats which can break easily and are difficult to replace.
